CyberFOX LLC Completes CMMC Level 1 Self-Assessment, Advancing Toward CMMC Level 2 Certification
CyberFOX LLC announced today that it has completed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 self-assessment, marking a milestone in its journey toward achieving CMMC Level 2 certification. This accomplishment reinforces CyberFOX’s commitment to cybersecurity and its dedication to protecting sensitive data across its AutoElevate and Password Boss platforms.
Developed by the U.S. Department of Defense, CMMC is a framework designed to enhance the cybersecurity posture of organizations within the defense industrial base. CMMC Level 1 focuses on foundational cyber hygiene practices, including the implementation of basic safeguarding requirements for Federal Contract Information (FCI).
The completion of this self-assessment demonstrates CyberFOX’s proactive approach to compliance and risk management. It builds on the company’s existing certifications, including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and SOC 2, and reflects its ongoing investment in robust security controls and continuous improvement.
CyberFOX remains committed to achieving CMMC Level 2 certification, which will require third-party assessment and validation of advanced cybersecurity practices. This next phase is already underway, with planning and budgeting efforts aligned to meet the rigorous standards required for Level 2 compliance expected in mid-2026.
CyberFOX Achieves ISO 27001 Certification
CyberFOX LLC announced today that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certifications for the information security management system (ISMS) supporting CyberFOX's AutoElevate and Password Boss products. These certifications signify CyberFOX's commitment to information security and validate the company's approach to protecting both company and customer data.
Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), ISO 27001 is a standard that outlines the processes for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, and maintaining an ISMS. This widely recognized certification is awarded to organizations that have established rigorous controls and processes for reducing information security risks.
To validate conformity and certify CyberFOX's ISMS against the ISO 27001 standards, CyberFOX engaged Sensiba LLP to conduct a certification audit. The successful completion of this audit builds on the SOC 2 certification achieved in 2023 and demonstrates CyberFOX's ongoing focus on data security.
CyberFOX Elevates Standards with SOC 3 Achievement and SOC 2 Renewal.
We are thrilled to announce that CyberFOX LLC has successfully completed the SOC 3 audit, and the renewal of the SOC 2 Type 2 audit reaffirms our dedication to maintaining robust data security and privacy practices. Conducted by Sensiba LLP (Sensiba). Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 information security audit offers a report on the examination of controls relevant to the trust services criteria categories, which include security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. A SOC 2 Type II report details a service organization's systems, evaluates whether the design of specified controls meets the relevant trust services categories, and assesses the effectiveness of those controls over a defined period. CyberFOX’s SOC 2 Type II report received no noted exceptions and was therefore issued a “clean” audit opinion from Sensiba.
CyberFOX AutoElevate achieves TX-RAMP Level 2 Compliance
TAMPA, FLORIDA, March 27, 2025 – CyberFOX, a global cybersecurity software provider, announces its successful certification under the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP). This achievement reinforces CyberFOX’s commitment to providing simple, secure, and compliant cybersecurity solutions for Texas government agencies, educational institutions, and public sector organizations.
The Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) was created by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to standardize the security assessment and certification process for cloud services used by state agencies and public sector organizations. This program ensures that cloud solutions handling government data meet strict security controls, reducing risks associated with cyber threats and data breaches. By earning TX-RAMP certification, vendors demonstrate their compliance with Texas state security regulations, making it easier for agencies to procure and implement secure cloud solutions.
“TX-RAMP certification is a testament to our dedication to helping public sector organizations defend against evolving cyber threats,” said David Bellini, CEO at CyberFOX. “With this approval, Texas agencies can even more confidently leverage our privileged access management and password management solutions to strengthen security postures while maintaining compliance with state regulations.”
CyberFOX specializes in privileged access management (PAM) and password management solutions designed to mitigate cyber risks and protect organizations from identity-based attacks. With TX-RAMP approval, Texas agencies can deploy CyberFOX’s solutions, ensuring compliance with state cybersecurity standards while enhancing operational security.
